Prey Review
I was hoping for something more like the original Prey (2006), but this wasn't like that. The story was solid, but combat was just not fun. Did not enjoy.
Like the System Shock 3 we never had
If you enjoyed System Shock and/or Bioshock, you're almost guaranteed to like this game. It's like a mix of the two, with slightly more of the former. Downsides include a few glitches with objectives and an ending that somewhat undermines the impact of the choices you've made. Also, it's supposed to be designed for "play your way" a la Deus Ex, but I found stealth to be impractical a lot of the time. Not enough pathways for sneaking around obstacles & enemies. And some enemies respawn the moment you leave a level, which is annoying if you return soon.
Still, these complaints are outweighed by a great setting and solid story.
