5 Days a Stranger is the first of a series of 2D adventure games developed by Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw using the Adventure Game Studio engine. The game was seemingly inspired by LucasArts' Maniac Mansion and a variety of horror movies like Ringu, Halloween and Friday the 13th.
