This was a LEGENDARY journey!
Very rarely we see games from which people expect so much live up to the expectations and Elden Ring went beyond it. It overdelivered all the expectations and it's a HUGE thing. FromSoftware has my respect for going against the conventional flow and in the era when all games are getting rushed or introducing micro-transactions, these guys put their heart and soul into making this dream a reality.

This is literally the game I dreamt of in my childhood, a game where we are free to explore and do whatever we want, with an amazing lore, sense of accomplishment at every point of the game, ground breaking combat and huge variety of weapons, builds and play styles.

Playing this game was a journey, progressing felt so satisfying and well paced in this game. You actually feel the sense of progressing and feeling how far you have come since you first started the journey. The game rewards you for your dedication. After you have come far enough, it actually feels like you and your character has developed and you are not the same as when you started.

They nailed the open world! It's mind boggling that this is their first game that has open world in it. The way they designed each and every area is just soo good! The game has sooo much to explore, like I can't begin to explain how much you can explore. It's already so overwhelming how big it is on the surface and then you find out there are secret areas, dungeons and a whole other world underground. They do reward you for exploring. Every area has it's own theme and set of enemies.

The main quest, storyline and lore is already really good in this game, and they decided to add so many deep and complex side quests too! In a game like this, they could have gotten away with a not so deep and amazing story, but they decided to make the lore so well thought. The amount of side-quests on top of that is amazing. Whole big proper areas are hidden behind these side-quests. There is soooo much content in this game that is dependent on if you want to explore these side-quests or find the secret areas.

One of the best things about this game is the variety of character builds and play styles possible. The amount and types of weapons in this game is unreal. You can be a mage if you want, which itself has different types like sorcery based mage, incantations based mage or a physical power enhancing mage, you can be a heavy armor wearing tank or even a samurai. There is literally no limit and you can create a completely unique build that suits how you play. This game is somehow more anime than most animes. Everything looks cool and you can make any type of build work.

At the end I just want to say that this is one of those few games that not only meet but overdeliver all the expectations of people. A game in which the developers put there heart and soul and it reflects the passion they had to make this dream a reality. I genuinely feel so thankful that they made this world that allowed me to experience this insane journey.

Elden Ring
Trotzallem hier meine Top 3 FromSoftware Games:
1. Sekiro - Shadow die Twice
2.Bloodborne
3. Elden Ring
