Depressingly Fun
Of all the LEGO games I've ever played, this one is by far the most unfinished and unpolished. TT Games obviously wanted to combine the brick-building experience with the sandbox style of Minecraft, but they simply didn't finish the game!
For those of you who have never played: The main story is that you're an astronaut who must travel to different worlds to collect Gold Bricks to power your ship. The problems come from everything else. The "Worlds" in the title are actually really small and don't feel like worlds. Their themes repeat constantly with little-to-no variety on each. Every single Winter world is exactly the same, not having any new structures to discover or explore.
The building mechanics are horrible and do not encourage advanced building. In order to get the aforementioned Gold Bricks, you must complete quests for the locals of each World you visit. Some of which require you to build structures. But it doesn't matter if you build a whole house or place a single brick, they'll give you a reward regardless.
But there is something so sad about this game's existence that makes it fun. If you can find a second-hand copy, it's worth a good laugh.
