Great concept; flawed execution.
Even in Explorer mode, this was tedious and not fun.
It's aesthetically gorgeous, the soundtrack and audio is glamourous, and the curiosity of exploration was there. But it was punishing in a way that simply wasn't fun. I like dying in Dark Souls because I get to do it all over again. Not so much with Below.
