Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed's second entry is easily the greatest to me.
Black Flag had epic ship battles and Valhalla had Viking brawls but Assassin's Creed II's simplicity is what made me love this title.
Also, the game took everything that the original game did and succeeded to be better in every way. It's like Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The second game did everything the first game did, and did better in every way.
Ezio is also the best assassin. The rest are all serviceable with a few exceptions but Ezio is the assassin most seen in the franchise so he's bound to have some cool parkouring skills, an absurdly awesome outfit and outstanding dueling skills, right? Yes. Absolutely.
The open world, while not exactly close to Red Dead Redemption II and definitely not No Man's Sky's open world, it's is still fun to explore. The towns can look boringly designed with the same designs over and over again, however this game still has a decently large open world with shops, side quests and enemies to fight so that's fine enough for me.
The game only has a few negative aspects. The trailing missions are terrible as usual and the final boss is very disappointing and there are more, but I don't need to mention them. I just need to tell you that this is a brilliant game.
