Speed Rumbler
Speed Rumbler puts you into an armed and armored car as you work your way through multiple enemy-filled levels. The player can also exit the vehicle and battle on foot. Ahead of its time, the game's combination of run & gun shooter with driving mechanics was a precursor to later action games like GTA.
