A Masterpiece
As far as I'm concerned, Starcraft II:Wings of Liberty, along with both of it's expansions, is a masterpiece of PC gaming.

It's an RTS, with full base building, unit building and upgrades on a top-down perspective map.

You start in your corner, harvest resources, build units with your resources and then go to war with your units. Or you simply stay home and build a fortress.

You can play the single player campaign which is great, or you can play all sorts of multiplayer matches (1v1, 1v2, 2v2,... ) Also the game has additional gaming modes in the form of mods which totally change the game and adds even more replayability.

The game comes built-in with tons of Achievements.

Obviously, the sounds and the music are top-notch. But the best part of SC2, to me, is the incredible control. Control is precise, with all the tools available to quickly manage your multiple bases on the map. Hotkeys, control groups, screen notifications, everything is there.

Again, this game is a masterpiece. The more you play the more you come to enjoy it's refinement. A true sequel to the original. The verdict: 5 out of 5. On 100? 93%. A masterpiece.
