+Very lengthy for a portable game
+A lot of different characters/pokemon to play as - up to 150 different kinds
+Multiplayer available which includes competing and friendly trading
+Great memorable OST
+High replayability thanks to breeding, Multiplayer and trading
+Yellow version ties closely to the anime featuring characters and some storyline elements from the anime.
+Yellow version consists of different colors depending on what area of the game you are - in comparison to other versions which only stay one color throughout the entire game
