*Warning: spoilers* Fun little shooter to kill some time (and zombies)
Zombie Shooter is just how it sounds. You shoot zombies. It is exactly the same game as Alien Shooter, with almost the same story as well.

This time, the researchers that were working on the Alien infestation earlier, have become zombies for some reason. The infection spreads quickly and in no time, hordes of the undead attack and infest the military base and science complex. You need to hold back the horde while also discover the cause of the mutations and infections of the human race.

Although a fun game, Zombie Shooter can be considered Shuffle ware. The complete Alien Shooter game has been reskinned with zombies instead of Aliens and a new sticker is slapped on top of it. For this kind of games, it is fine, and the new zombie models look good enough to be considered unique, at least for me.

Zombie Shooter features the same aspects of its Shuffle ware counterpart. You got the campaign mode, consisting of eleven levels, you got a survival mode in which you need to reach the highest score by killing zombies and stay alive, and the Gun Stand mode, which is the same, but with one weapon that you upgrade more and more when staying alive and killing enough zombies.
Just like Alien Shooter, you can upgrade your characters with implants that you buy or find in the levels. You collect money, ammo, extra lives, and break walls to reveal hidden goodies.

You can also unlock/buy ten different guns and upgrade them with cash. This is, as far as I can tell, the only unique mechanic from Alien Shooter. Apart from this, the gadgets and mechanics are the same.

The graphics are decent and in exactly the same art style as Alien Shooter. In this game, you also paint the walls and floors red with the blood of your slain foes and corpses stay behind. In terms of sound, the grunts and sounds that zombies make, and your weapon fire, sound good enough, although they have been done before.

Zombie Shooter is a fun distraction and offers a good hour of fun before you completely cleared and beat it. It is ridiculously easy because of the flawed weapon mechanics. Just save your money for three levels, buy the strongest gun and nothing can stop you, making all the other weapons obsolete.

This is also one of those games that I cannot criticize for some reason. It offers fast paced gunplay, is exactly as the name suggests and does not meet high expectations. It is no masterpiece but not a pile of crap either. It is just a generic shooter with some fun. It is short enough not to get bored, but long enough to justify that three bucks from your wallet.

There is not much more to say. It is a clone from another game with some different models and one extra feature. Nevertheless, it is not that expensive and can be bought in giant bundles with all the other Sigma games for two bucks on sale.

For this reason, I would recommend this little hour of fun.
